During a newborn session, you can expect a relaxed and calm environment focused on capturing the sweet, tiny details of your newborn. The session typically lasts between 1 ½ hours-3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing the baby. I often use soft, natural lighting and cozy props to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. I use safe and comfortable poses for your baby. Parents are encouraged to bring any special items they would like included in the photos, such as blankets or props.

This prep work requires a couple of things from you! This form will give you the list of things that you can do to ensure that we get the most out of your newborn session!

First thing and most important- Please make sure that your baby is as cozy, comfortable and relaxed as you can. Feeding your baby right before the session will help your baby sleep during the session! Less wiggles, less crying and more cute sleepy baby poses!

The second thing I need you to do is to please bring in a scented item of YOURS! placing this item near the baby will allow them to know you are close by and feel more comfortable in their surroundings.

This brings me to the third helpful tip- please bring a binky or their favorite item to the session so that if tears do happen, they have their comfort item!
